Junctionbox/Cisco 250x Configuration

 
To use this configuration information you only need to change the
values shown in color.  There are about XX values that need to be
changed from the factory defaults.
 
Insert the value issued by Junctionbox
Insert the value issued by the telephone company
Insert a value of your choosing
Insert the value as displayed on this page

Plug a VT100 terminal (or terminal emulator) into the Cisco 2500's
serial port.  (9600 baud, 8 Bits, No parity, 1 Stop bit).

When the router reboots you'll need to wait about 3 minutes for the router to
sync up with the telco's frame relay switch.  While you're waiting log into
the router:

You've now tested connectivity to both Junctionbox and the InterNet and
verified that nameservice is working for your router.

Now you can configure client machines on the customers network.  Be
sure to use 208.xxx.xxx.0 as the default gateway and 65.32.12.117 as the
primary nameserver.

After a client is properly configured it should be able to ping the
routers ethernet interface (65.xxx.xxx.0) and any InterNet host.  Note:
You will NOT be able to ping the router or any host on it's ethernet
from the InterNet.
